3 options were developed for redevelopment of this 5 story industrial building. Preliminary engineering and rough-order-of-magnitude budgeting was coordinated with Froelich Consulting and R&H Construction.
1) A low-cost clean-up of the building, keeping it mostly as-is, adding vertical circulation and bathrooms.
2) Recapturing of the area occupied by grain cribs and a penthouse addition (required full seismic upgrade).
3) A 5-story seismically braced addition and full upgrade to the existing tower.
